Continuing Education Course
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)
This is a required continuing education course by the Appraisal Foundation, focuses on USPAP requirements for ethical behavior and competent performance by appraisers. New case studies and tools are provided to help you learn how to better navigate USPAP in order to solve problems in your daily appraisal practice. The topic of bias and appraisal practice will be covered using Advisory Opinion 16 showing how  an appraiser can comply with USPAP as it relates to fair housing laws.

Technology in Appraisal Practice
This course will discuss trends of technology in appraisal practice. This course will delve into how technology is changing appraisal practice. This course will also discuss the pros and cons of the use of technology in appraisal practice. Finally, this course will explore the cultural and social implications of using artificial intelligence in appraisal practice and how we can distinguish between human and machine-made information.

Valuation of Convenience Stores
This course will discuss the history of convenience stores. The course will give a basic understanding of supply and demand in competitive markets of convenience stores. Highest and Best Use consideration for convenience stores and the valuation of convenience stores. Using all three approaches of value in valuing convenience stores.
 

Eminent Domain Appraising
This course will give a basic understanding of eminent domain appraising for transportation related projects.
